Our Work with Children and Young People

Reflections from Carers and Parents

Over the years, we have had the privilege of working with many children and young people, helping them navigate their paths in the world. Each of these individuals has brought their unique experiences and stories, enriching our journey together. Our dedication to supporting their growth and development has been met with appreciation and heartfelt reflections.

Testimonials

Tracey (Mum)  ……..you guys were my life-line and so far the only decent one Kris has had ..

Alison and Matt (Mum and Dad) Steve and his colleagues have been taking our son out and about for a couple of years now. They have watched him grow from being extremely anxious to being much more happy and independent. They have been able to meet his complex needs throughout and have helped contribute to his journey. Our son really looks forward to his sessions and has a fantastic relationship with the staff. We are able to relax while he is out knowing that he is in very good, safe hands. Thank you!

Bev (Mum) …………..you were an absolute lifesaver for our family. Alfie loved his trips out in the bus and we always enjoyed the great photos you sent us…..

Ian and Georgina (Dad and Mum) Thank you for being such an important part of Gabriel’s life, we are all going to miss you enormously. We are grateful for everything that you have done for our boy, he has flourished under your care and has been supported with unflagging patience, thoughtfulness and friendship. With love and gratitude and wishing you all the best for the future.

Tracey (Mum) Hi people, I’ve joined the group (Facebook) to talk about Steve and this lovely bunch of wonderful carers. My Kristian has ASD, global delay, Q4 syndrome, pica hypermobility, and now bipolar depression and anxiety disorder.

He has always been large for his age, nonverbal and really struggles with basic everyday life. He needs lots of routines, regular friendly caring faces with open minds to help with each and all tasks.

Steve and his jolly band became my respite team, and my god I needed them. I started with 4 hours a month and when he was excluded from school, the hours were increased. These people were my lifeline, my only support through Covid, and his expelling from school.

Kristian spent time going bowling, swimming, walks, playgrounds, but above all they gave him great fun and learning while I got a very much needed Break.! I can’t explain how much I wouldn’t have got through without them and because of time and the speed of Kris’s needs spiraling out of control, I didn’t even get a chance to give them the HUGE thank you they much needed.

Truly guys you were my lifeline; you treated my boy like one of you guys and he loved his time with you all. Trust me when I say those carers really care, wonderful people, kind, fun, and can think outside of the box. Just what any young people need.  My lad has now been through many carers, I’ve seen the good bad, and bloody ugly. I can’t give enough appreciation for all you lot have done for my boy, thank you is not enough xx

Georgina (Mum) Give these guys a follow (Facebook). If you’re looking for or know anyone who needs support for their child/young person in Norfolk. This team worked with Gabriel for years and I can’t recommend them highly enough.
